1 Quantum Inter Vivos Quantum 1983 Record Runner
Good instrumental progressive generally in the style of early Camel. Reminds me a little of Shylock, too. It is good, but, not particularly original. Has a sound somewhat similar to Crucis, but, not as energetic or complex.

2 Som Nosso de Cada Dia Massavilha Snegs 1974 Progressive Rock Worldwide
Decent symphonic hard-rock progressive. Vocals are fairly prominent in most songs, but, they stretch out on some nice instrumental bits as well. Has some similarities to early 70's Italian progressive. Hints at early Gentle Giant influences. A solid release that is considered one of the best Brazilian prog albums in a survey of Brazilian prog fans.

3 Traffic Sound Tibet's Suzettes Traffic Sound (tibet's Suzettes) 1970 Lazarus Audio Products
Psyche band from Peru and generally highly touted. On this album, there is a strong Jethro Tull, circa _Stand Up_ and _Benefit_, influence on several songs. This band is firmly in the late 60's British and American psych/prog/ hard-rock vein and they do it very well. This is very good. Many say their best album is _Virgin_, but I have not heard it, yet.

4 Mutantes Ando Meio Desligado A Divina Comedia ou 1970 Omplatten
Strange pop psychedelia. You could say that the music is injected with humor, but, to me, it seems to be of the "nerd humor" variety. The music is accented with silly sound effects like water whistles and the like. The style is usually described as "Tropicalia" which, I believe, is simply a Brazilian variety of psychedelic music with influences of traditional Brazilian sounds. Many people really hype up the first 3 (Os) Mutantes albums, but, they do very little for me. I like their more progressive albums from a couple of years later much better.

5 Marco Antonio Araujo Caipira Lucas 1984 Progressive Rock Worldwide
Excellent mix of fusion, symphonic prog, and acoustic folk influences. Perhaps in the vein of Mike Oldfield or Jean Pascal Boffo. Soaring guitar leads and prominent flute melodies. Good clean fun for the whole family. He has at least a half dozen other albums of which I have never heard.
